Rarity and Collection
Rarity
Resources come in different rarity tiers, which include common, rare, epic, legendary, and mythic. Each of these rarity levels affects the quantity you can collect and how fast you can collect that resource. Here's how it works:
Rarity Levels:
Common: 5 Common resources per category (15 in total).
Rare: 2 Rare resources in every subcategory.
Epic: 2 Epic resources in every subcategory.
Legendary: 1 Legendary resource in each subcategory.
Mythic: 1 Mythic resource in each subcategory as well.
Availability:
Scarcer resources are harder to come by, and the rarer the resource, the fewer Resource of that type are available in Seedworld.
Owning Land NFTs representing rarer resources can be a valuable asset, as it allows you to control and optimize your resource collection strategy.
Characteristics:
Resource rarity significantly affects resource parameters, which in turn play a crucial role in crafting. These parameters not only influence the attributes of the crafted weapon, tool, consumable, or asset but also provide crafting bonuses based on resource rarity.
Collection Speed
Every resource type and rarity starts with the same collection speed. Initially, all resources are gathered at a uniform rate, but as full units are collected (e.g., 7 Coal, 8 Banana, or 2 Amber), the collection speed gradually decreases until it reaches a capped minimum limit.
Collection Speed Reduction:
Collection speed declines progressively as you gather full units of resources. However, this reduction is tied to collection actions rather than time, meaning taking a break won’t further decrease your speed.
Enhancing Collection Speed:
To counteract this slowdown and improve your minimum collection speed, you can:
Upgrade your factories.
Apply permanent boosts.
Craft temporary boosters using resources.
Hold Genesis NFTs.
Investing in these enhancements allows you to maintain or even accelerate your resource collection efficiency.
